Our Upholstery Services

Sofas, couches, lounge suites, leather, armchairs, dining chairs, stains and pet odour — all done in your own rooms, by the same certified technicians, in a single visit. Here is the full list and what each one actually involves.

All Melbourne metro suburbs 7 days, 6:00 AM–11:00 PM Priced before we start
Booked together, priced together Two jobs in one visit always costs less than two visits, because the setting up only happens once. Ask for the combined figure rather than adding ours up.
Nothing leaves your house Sofas, chairs, suites and dining sets are all cleaned where they sit. No pick-up, no drop-off, no fortnight without your lounge room.
One certified crew, not six subcontractors The technician who cleans the sofa is the one who does the dining chairs. Every service on this page is delivered by our own people.
Same day slots most weeks Seven days a week, 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with a 24/7 line for floods, leaks and the spills that cannot wait until Monday.
What we do

Everything Soft in the House, in One Visit

Most people ring us about one thing. The sofa, usually, because the armrests have gone dark and somebody is visiting. What surprises them is that the same van, the same machine and the same technician handle the armchairs, the dining chairs, the bed heads and the pet corner as well — and that adding them to the same booking costs a fraction of calling somebody else out for each one.

That is the reason this page exists. Every service listed below runs off one portable extraction unit, the same chemistry range, and the same person who has been trained on all of it. Nothing is subcontracted out. Nothing is sent away to a plant. You get one arrival time, one technician to talk to, and one price at the end.

What changes between the services is method, not equipment. An S-code sofa takes solvent and no water at all. Linen and viscose shrink and watermark where a performance weave takes full extraction happily. Leather is never extracted — it is cleaned by hand and then conditioned, or the hide cracks. Getting that right is the entire job, and it is why we find the care code in front of you and then test it anyway rather than reading a label and hoping.

If you are not sure which of these you need — or whether you need us at all — the section further down starts from the problem rather than the service name. Describe the piece over the phone and you will get a straight answer, including the occasional "that is sun fade, not soiling, and cleaning will not bring it back".

New to professional upholstery cleaning? Why sofa armrests go dark and shiny is the clearest explanation of what a thorough job is actually removing, and why a vacuum never touches it.

The main event Sofa Cleaning in Melbourne

Sofa Cleaning

The service four out of five bookings start with. The care code is found before a price is given, the fabric is colour tested somewhere hidden, the armrests and headrests get a pre-spray with real dwell time rather than being sprayed and immediately sucked back up, and both faces of every cushion are cleaned along with the crevices, the back panel and the piping. Air movers dry the foam through rather than skinning the surface, so the sofa is usable the same evening.

  • Care code located and colour tested before anything is applied
  • Hot water extraction, dry solvent or low moisture, matched to the tag
  • Armrests, headrests and marks treated as their own step
  • Both faces of every cushion, plus the crevices and the back panel

Every other service on this page can be added to a sofa booking on the same visit.

Eight specialist services, each with its own page. Half our customers only notice the armchairs need doing once the sofa beside them looks new — so read these before you book, not after.

In detail

What Each Job Actually Involves

The short version of each service, in the order most people add them. Every one of these links through to a full page with the method, the pricing basis and the questions we get asked most.

01 · Couch Cleaning Couch Cleaning in Melbourne

Couch Cleaning

The couch takes the crumbs, the pets, the homework and the Friday night takeaway. Every cushion face, both sides, plus the crevices, the back panel and the frame between the seats — cleaned in one visit while the couch stays where it is.

  • Every cushion face, not just the top
  • Crevices and frame cleared out
  • Sectionals split and cleaned all round

Full detail on the couch cleaning page.

02 · Lounge Cleaning Lounge Cleaning in Melbourne

Lounge Cleaning

A three-piece suite cleaned as one job rather than a sofa at a time. The setting up happens once, the pieces come back matching, and the whole lounge room is finished inside a single visit at a better rate per piece.

  • Whole suite priced as one job
  • Everything matches when we finish
  • One visit, no second appointment

Full detail on the lounge cleaning page.

03 · Upholstery Stain Removal Upholstery Stain Removal in Melbourne

Upholstery Stain Removal

Individual marks worked by hand with the chemistry each one actually needs, rather than a general wash and hope. We tell you at the inspection which marks are soiling and will lift, and which are dye damage and will not.

  • Chemistry matched to each stain
  • Straight answer before you pay
  • Wicking re-treated at no charge

Full detail on the upholstery stain removal page.

04 · Leather Sofa Cleaning Leather Sofa Cleaning in Melbourne

Leather Sofa Cleaning

Aniline, semi-aniline, pigmented, bonded and vinyl each need a different hand. pH-balanced cleaning followed by a conditioning pass puts the oils back, which is what stops the seat panels cracking across in a few summers.

  • Hide type identified first
  • Clean then condition, always both
  • Denim dye transfer worked on pale hides

Full detail on the leather sofa cleaning page.

05 · Armchair Cleaning Armchair Cleaning in Melbourne

Armchair Cleaning

One chair is a small job and we treat it as a real one. Recliner mechanisms, wingback crowns, tub chairs and inherited pieces with no label left in them — each cleaned to what the fabric will actually tolerate.

  • Recliner mechanisms opened and cleaned
  • Unlabelled and vintage fabrics tested
  • Small jobs genuinely welcome

Full detail on the armchair cleaning page.

06 · Dining Chair Cleaning Dining Chair Cleaning in Melbourne

Dining Chair Cleaning

Seat pads that have caught years of Sunday lunches, plus the buttoned backs and the front edge where everything lands. Show wood and timber legs kept dry throughout, and the set is priced together rather than one chair at a time.

  • Priced as a set, not per visit
  • Timber and show wood kept dry
  • Usually the quickest job of the day

Full detail on the dining chair cleaning page.

07 · Pet Stain & Odour Removal Pet Stain & Odour Removal in Melbourne

Pet Stain & Odour Removal

Urine passes through the fabric and sits in the foam, which is why a surface clean works for a week and then the smell comes back on the first warm day. We find it, treat it at that depth, and tell you honestly when a cushion insert is the only real fix.

  • Located before it is treated
  • Enzyme treatment into the foam
  • Honest answer when it cannot be saved

Full detail on the pet stain & odour removal page.

Start from the problem

Which Service Do You Actually Need?

Almost nobody rings up naming a service. They describe a piece of furniture. These are the descriptions we hear most, and what each one turns out to be.

01

"The armrests of the sofa have gone dark and shiny."

Body oil, and it is on the fibre rather than in it, so it comes out — but the care code under the cushion decides whether water can be used at all. That is Sofa Cleaning.

02

"The family couch is a state and one end is darker than the other."

Uneven wear rather than damage: the same two people sit in the same two spots. Cleaning the whole piece evenly is what brings it back to one colour, so what you want is Couch Cleaning.

03

"If I clean the sofa, will the armchairs look worse?"

Yes, and it is the most common reason people call us back a fortnight later. The eye reads contrast rather than dirt. Do the room in one visit, which costs less per piece — that is Lounge Cleaning.

04

"There is one wine mark I have been hiding under a throw since March."

Usually liftable, even years later, provided nobody scrubbed it. Stains sort into families that want opposite chemistry, so what you need is Upholstery Stain Removal.

05

"The leather is starting to crack across the seats."

That is the oils leaving the hide rather than dirt landing on it, and conditioning is the only thing that stops it. Cleaned and then fed, which is Leather Sofa Cleaning.

06

"It is only one chair — will you even come out?"

Yes, with no minimum and no call-out fee. A recliner also gets the footrest, the hinge and the gap behind the back, which almost nobody cleans. That is Armchair Cleaning.

07

"The dining chairs look fine until you pull them out for guests."

The dark band along the front edge of each pad is food soil and grease, and grease does not respond to water-based cleaning at all. Priced per chair, which is Dining Chair Cleaning.

08

"I clean it, the smell goes, then it comes back on the first warm day."

Urine in the foam. The residue is not water-soluble and it draws moisture out of the air, so surface treatment lasts about a week. Treated at depth with enzymes, which is Pet Stain & Odour Removal.

The routine

How a Booking Runs

The same five steps whether it is one dining chair or a whole lounge suite with the armchairs and the bed heads added on. No part of it is a surprise on the day.

1

1. Tell us the seats, not the measurements

Nobody knows their upholstery dimensions and we do not ask. Seat counts, chair counts and roughly what the fabric is are enough to price almost every job over the phone in a couple of minutes. Photos of anything you are worried about make the number more accurate, not less.

  • Phone or email
  • Photos welcome
  • Priced in minutes
2

2. A price before anything is booked

You get a figure for the whole visit, with every service you have asked about in it. No travel charge, no weekend loading, no per-stain extras invented on the day. If we cannot price something without seeing it — heavy pet damage, a repair — we say so rather than quoting low and revising upward in your hallway.

  • Upfront
  • No hidden charges
  • One combined figure
3

3. A slot that suits the house

Seven days, 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with same-day availability most weeks and a 24/7 line for fresh spills. End of lease jobs get booked against your handover date. Commercial seating gets done after hours at no extra cost, because that is when it is empty.

  • Same day often
  • After hours
  • Booked to your date
4

4. Inspection and testing on arrival, in front of you

Fibre identified, care codes read, dyes tested at each colour boundary, and the problem areas pointed out before a machine is switched on. This is also when you hear anything you will not want to hear — that a mark is a bleach spot, or that sun fading will not clean out. Better then than after payment.

  • Fibre identified
  • Dye tested
  • Honest assessment
5

5. Cleaned, dried and checked with you

Pre-spray, agitation, extraction and drying passes, in that order, at the settings the fibre takes. Then we walk the job with you before the gear goes back in the van. If something has not come out we say why, and if a return visit will fix it we book it there and then.

  • Walked through
  • Dry the same day
  • Return if needed
Why choose us

One Company for All of It

The argument for booking every one of these with the same crew, rather than three companies and three arrival windows.

Certified technicians, fully insured

Trained on every fabric and every method on this page, hide included. Full public liability, so a building manager asking for a certificate of currency gets one the same day.

One visit is cheaper than three

Set-up, hoses, water and travel happen once. Adding two armchairs or six dining chairs to a sofa booking costs far less than the same jobs called out separately, and we quote it that way without being asked.

Safe around children and pets

pH-balanced, low-residue chemistry chosen for the fabric, rinsed properly rather than left in the weave to attract soil back. Furniture is usable in a couple of hours.

Hours that suit real households

Seven days, 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, plus 24/7 for emergencies. Offices, clinics and hospitality seating get cleaned after close with no after-hours surcharge.

You are told what will not work

Sun fade, bleach marks, bonded-leather delamination and collapsed foam do not clean out, and you hear that before you pay rather than after. It costs us jobs and keeps the reviews honest.

A local name, not a call centre

Three crews covering the metropolitan area, dispatched by people who know the difference between a Docklands high-rise and a Camberwell period home. Your job is not sold on to a subcontractor.

Common questions

Questions About Booking More Than One Service

That is the normal booking, not the exception. A sofa, the matching armchairs, a set of dining chairs and a bed head can all be done on the same visit by the same technician, and it costs considerably less than booking them separately because the set-up, travel and water only happen once. Tell us everything you want looked at when you ring and you will get one figure for the lot.
It depends on the service, the seat count and the condition, which is why there is no price list on this page pretending otherwise. What we will not do is give you a range and then a different number on the day. Describe the pieces over the phone — most jobs are priced accurately in two or three minutes, and that price is what you pay.
A three-seat sofa runs about an hour. A full three-piece suite is one to two. A set of six dining chairs is often under an hour, and a leather piece an hour to an hour and a half. A whole house with everything on this page added is usually most of a day, and we will tell you the expected window when we book rather than leaving you waiting.
Fabric pieces are touch-dry in two to four hours with air movers running, and sittable that evening. Leather has no drying period at all — it is usable within the hour, once the conditioner has settled. Low-moisture methods on delicate fabrics are quicker again. Airflow helps more than heat, so we will suggest which windows to open.
Almost never. Every service on this page is done where the furniture stands. The occasional heavily contaminated piece, or a loose cover genuinely better washed than cleaned in place, is the exception — and if yours is one of those the technician will tell you why before you commit rather than loading it into the van.
Yes. The chemistry is pH-balanced to the fabric, low-residue and rinsed out rather than left in the weave — residue is what attracts soil straight back and what irritates airways. This is furniture children sprawl on and pets sleep on, so it matters more here than anywhere. If someone in the house has a specific sensitivity, say so when you book.
Often, but not always, and the difference is whether it is soiling or damage. Soiling comes out. Bleach, sun fade, dye that has bonded into a pale fabric, ink that has set, and marks already driven in by scrubbing do not, no matter who cleans them. You will be told which yours is when the technician inspects it, before any money changes hands.
Yes — offices, hotels, restaurants, retail, gyms, childcare centres, medical suites and short-stay properties, on all of the services listed here. Commercial work is generally done after hours or on weekends so the seating is empty, and there is no after-hours loading for it. Certificates of currency and invoicing to a property manager are routine.
